Rowantree Cottage Bed and Breakfast, Arrochar is a charming traditional Scottish stone cottage overlooking Loch Long with stunning uninterrupted views across the loch to the 'Arrochar Alps' beyond, including The Cobbler. Loch lomond is less than 2 miles away at Tarbet.

Over the years the acommodation in Rowantree Cottage has been extensively and sympathetically enlarged and upgraded to provide modern, spacious, centrally heated bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The cottage is central to the charming village of Arrochar and the rooms have stunning uninterrupted views across Loch Long to the mountains beyond. There are a variety of Hotels, restaurants and a couple of pubs offering evening meals within easy level walking distance. We will be pleased to make arrangements at the restaurants for you. For the restaurant with a longer walk we can arrange for a car to pick you up and drop you off after your meal at no additional cost. We have arrangements with the local hotels where if meals are booked through us you will benefit from a reduction on their normal rates.

A Wi-Fi internet connection is provided free of charge and there is free private off road parking.

Arrochar is at the head of Loch Long at the northern end of The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Scotland’s first National Park, and has long been a popular centre for climbers, divers, mountain bikers, hill walkers, ramblers and fishermen of all abilities. Rowantree Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding areas of West Argyll, The Cowal Peninsula, The Trossachs and most famous of all Loch Lomond. Glasgow with its museums and cafe culture in the Merchant City, is an hour away as is Stirling with its castle and the memorial to the 'Braveheart' himself, Sir William Wallace.
