The Martin & Mason Hotel’s five hotel rooms and three suites are each decorated in Victorian colors and period antiques. The hotel is perfectly suited for private parties and small groups. The hotel elevator can be locked, as can entrances to the stairs, to allow for complete privacy for VIP’s and private groups. A personal attendant and security personnel can be available for added privacy, if needed. Private meeting rooms or our third floor Reception Room, with a view of the train depot and the Deadwood Mountain Grand, can be made available for smaller events. If privacy or security are requirements for any group, we are able to accommodate.
We’ve developed a reputation for offering guests an authentically historic venue to showcase their event in our 1898 Olympic Ballroom, decorated with Victorian era antiques and lighting. We can accommodate 222 people for appetizers, wine and beer, or 200 for a seated dinner. The reception room, ballroom and meeting rooms provide a perfect venue for any special event and we have hosted many weddings, meetings, receptions, inaugural balls and historic workshops in these beautiful rooms. We believe that there is simply nothing else in Deadwood like our restored historic ballroom.
